After public backlash for her volatile and combative behavior,"Teen Mom"starAmber Portwoodsays she has reached the"lowest of the low."
The 20-year-old reveals in the new issue ofUs Weeklythat her 2-year-old daughter, Leah, was recently taken away by Child Protective Services and placed with ex-fiance,Gary Shirley.
"Child Protective Services agreed it was safer for her to stay at Gary's because of all the photographers outside my house,"Portwood tells the mag."Being away from my daughter is the lowest of the low."
"Every night she's been saying, 'Where's Mommy?'"Portword adds.
Portwood's now infamous attack on Shirley, in whichMTVcameras caught her punching her ex several times before kicking him in the back as he walked down a flight of stairs, has led to a domestic abuse investigation by police in her hometown of Anderson,Ind.
According toTMZ.com, cops are now in possession of the unedited footage cameras captured during the heated fight. She reportedly faces felony domestic violence charges if the couple's daughter witnessed the altercation.
Portwood also revealed to Us that she is taking medications to handle anxiety and depression.
"I feel like everything is spinning out of control,"she said."I'm trying to put the pieces back together... I have to get myself better so when I get my baby back, she sees her mom as happy as can be."
