It's not as though she's suddenly Susan...2.0. ButSusan Sarandon, 64, had a noticeably fresh glow about her while visiting aMiamiart gallery this weekend with rumored boy toyJonathan Bricklin, 31.
The pair, who are business partners of ping-pong bar SPiN New York, have been frequently seen around town together and traveled toMachu Picchu, Peru, andItalyover the past year. Both parties deny that they're dating.
"You have to have a sense of humor,"Sarandon toldBritain'sDaily Telegraphin an October interview, when asked about her relationship with the 31-year-old entrepreneur."There are lots of people in my life at the moment."
Bricklin says that though he's"flattered"that people might assume the two are an item, there's nothing going on between him and theAcademy Award-winning actress.
"She's one of my closest friends now,"Bricklin has told theNew York Observer. "But as far as a romantic relationship, we are not having one."
The actress, who most recently stars alongsideMichael DouglasandShia LaBeoufin"Wall Street 2,"splitwith longtime partnerTim Robbinslate last year. Said the self-proclaimed"hippie chick,"the relationship had simply run its course.
"You bring people into your life at certain times,"she told the Telegraph."Maybe you have a relationship to have children, and you realize that it's fulfilled after that point."
Sarandon has two grown sons with Robbins - Jack, 21, and Miles, 18 - as well as a daughter,Eva Amurri, 25, from a previous marriage.
"People were coming up to me in the street and saying, 'I cried and cried when I heard,'"she said of her separation from Robbins."Well, I was sadder! I didn't think it would ever happen, either."
But c'est la vie, the notoriously free-spirited actress said.
"I wouldn't want to be 20 now,"Sarandon tellsV Magazinein its special Age Issue."I know so much more, and I'm much more comfortable in my skin, saggy as it is."
