George Lopez apologizes for comparing Kirstie Alley to a pig:'No malice was intended'

DespiteGeorge Lopezfinally realizing he made a stinky move when he comparedKirstie Alleyto a pig during a segment on Monday's"Lopez Tonight,"the funnyman's mea culpa came too little, too late.

The comedian, who showed a clip of Alley's debut performance on"Dancing with the Stars"with"her little hooves tapping away,"extended an olive branch onTwitterThursday.

"I misjudged the joke,"hetweeted."No malice was intended and I apologize to Kirstie."

Though she initally told her Twitter followers not to"worry about George's comments,"Alley shot back at the comedian Friday morning and suggested what it would take Lopez to win her forgiveness.

"I don't need or want ur apology...I want your kidney dude..on behalf of ur X and all the women uv insulted...give it back,"shetweeted, making a dig at Lopez - who suffers from a genetic kidney disorder - receiving one of his now-ex-wife's organs during a transplant surgery in 2005.

"I don't consider 'I misjudged the joke' an apology,"Alley continued."sorta like a husband saying 'I misjudged putting my d--- in a w----"...sorry hon..hehe"

But less than two hours later, the fiesty actress let Lopez off the hook.

"take life as lightly as u can and then move on ...even u George ....u are forgiven.....:)"Alley wrote.

BEST CELEBRITY FOOT-IN-MOUTH MOMENTS

The mini-feud began when Lopez's joke gone wrong also included a mangling of the classic"This Little Piggy"nursery rhyme.

"Before the show, she went to the market and then she had roast beef,"Lopez said during his show monologue.

"And this is her going all the way home,"he continued before it cut to a clip of aGeicocommercial featuring a squealing pig in a car.

Alley returns to the"DWTS"ballroom for a second performance with partnerMaksim Chmerkovskiyon Monday after getting rave reviews from the judges this week.

But if Lopez, clearly unimpressed with Alley's moves, believes in the widespread reality series"vote for the worst"theory, the actress just may be able to rely on him to stay in the competition.
