Later that evening,Brodylooked pretty influenced by the thighs of the young platinum blond he brought to the party for his flick"Detachment"at 675 Bar. Despite his date's apparent discomfort, he gave her gams quite a caressing. She finally offered up a kiss to Brody, and they left hand in hand.

At least it did at the Tribeca Film Festival's Disruptive Innovation Awards at theCitigroupAuditorium Tuesday afternoon, whereRolling StoneKeith Richardswas among the geniuses feted for their establishment-roiling thinking. Richards managerJane Roseaccepted for the guitarist, who was honored for harnessing the power of"Open G"guitar tuning, which made"Honky Tonk Women"such an influential classic. TheDefense Advance Research Projects Agencywas also honored for its seminal role in the invention of the Internet, andDARPAdeputy directorDr. Ken Gabrielbrought along another invention, the creepy BigDog quadruped robot it's developing. Gabriel also got a laugh when he said that the first word transmitted over the infobahn was"Lo."It was supposed to be"log on"but, he said, the Net"crashed"before the entire word could be typed.WikipediafounderJimmy Waleswas also honored. Tribeca festival co-founderCraig Hatkoffemceed with Perri Peltz.
That guy from Jersey is pretty funny
The bold were looking for the beautiful - and vice versa - at The Time 100 gala atJazz at Lincoln CenterTuesday. Heat-seeking movie mogulHarvey Weinstein, who didn't make the cut, blew into the cocktail party searching for actressBlake Lively(who did). And charismaticNew Jersey Governor Chris Christiewas looking for fellow 100 cohortJustin Bieberon behalf of his daughter, but the haircut kid was never slated to show. Christie told us he found the soiree"pretty neat"for"a guy from Jersey."We like even more his response to a photographer on the red carpet who told the Guv thatHobokenneeded more buses."Walk. Walking is good for you,"a soiree source tells us the candid Christie replied, eventually adding:"Everyone is drunk in Hoboken anyway, so everyone should be walking."

America Ferrera will mind your manners for you. The"Ugly Betty"star put a drunken party guest in her place at the post-screening shindig for"Magic Valley"on Saturday night in the packed VIP room of Studio 21. After a woman there stumbled intoNoel Ashman's table and knocked over a bunch of full Champagne flutes, a source says Ferrera"raced around the room grabbing napkins"and cleaned up the spill. Then she scolded the woman"to be more careful"because"people are dancing and may slip!"
Free to roam
Daniel Radcliffe has the paparazzi problem licked. On Monday, the"How to Succeed in Business"star and current Gotham magazine cover boy hosted a party for the publication at Salon De Ning at the Peninsula New York, where he told us there's"no trick"to avoiding celebrity photographers. Just"don't call people and tell them where you're going to be before you go there,"he explained, adding:"I think a lot of the people who end up having that {problem} often call the paparazzi"themselves. Not that Radcliffe wants to be left totally alone. He admitted he's"a little disappointed"he hasn't had any crazy fan moments since moving here.
