Donald Trump gets support from'Blossom'star Joey Lawrence:'Some of the stuff he says makes sense'

Donald Trumpmay be losing friends by the minute, but he has at least one Hollywood star on his side -Joey Lawrencefrom the 1990ssitcom"Blossom."

The actor, who is best known for his role as Blossom's dimwitted brother on the '90s sitcom, toldFox Newsthat he was behind the birther king.

"I'd be open to Donald. He's somebody out of the box and I think that some of the stuff he's saying makes sense,"he said Tuesday."It sounds like you and I would say it, and it's time. I'm tired of 'so politically correct' every step of the way.

"It's like there are times when we need to say, 'We're getting our rear ends kicked, we are the world leader, we need to step up and act like it.'"

The endorsement is good news for Trump, who learned that he would be losing any business fromRosie O'Donnellthanks to his campaign - but not because of the birther issue.

O'Donnell's problem, according to her rep, is that in his campaign, Trump has spoken out against marriage equality for gays and lesbians.

So the talk show host canceled her stay at the TrumpChicagohotel, her rep told The Advocate.

"She is NOT going to be living or renting a Donald Trump apartment and is still looking at real estate options,"the rep said in an email.

O'Donnell is just the latest celeb to voice her opposition to the real estate mogul's campaign. On Wednesday,Chercalled"The Apprentice"boss"a complete idiot."

The mogul also got the thumbs down on the birther issue from comedianTracy Morgan, who voiced his support forPresident Obamaon Thursday.

"F--- Trump!"he toldGlobalGrind."I got Obama's birth certificate inBrooklyn. He can come get it. Anytime."

Trump, who many experts believe played a big role in the President's release of his full birth certificate to the media earlier this week, has yet to officially declare his candidacy.
